زمن المستقبل: متى نستخدم (Will) ومتى نستخدم (Going to)

لديك أداتان رائعتان للمستقبل: Will للأفكار المفاجئة والوعود، بينما Be going to للخطط الموجودة والتوقعات الواضحة.

Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'will' for sudden decisions and 'going to' for plans you made before speaking.

  • Use 'will' for spontaneous choices: 'I'll have the coffee.'
  • Use 'going to' for prior plans: 'I'm going to visit Paris next month.'
  • Use 'going to' for predictions with evidence: 'Look at those clouds! It's going to rain.'
🧠 (Decision) + Will / 🗓️ (Plan) + Going To

نظرة عامة

هل سبق وأرسلت رسالة بتقول فيها I'll be there in 5 وأنت لسه أصلاً ما طلعتش من البيت؟ أو يمكن نشرت بوست على إنستجرام بتقول فيه I'm going to start my fitness journey وأنت قاعد بتاكل بيتزا؟ لو حصل معاك كده، فأنت فعلياً بتستخدم زمن المستقبل في اللغة الإنجليزية.
بس فيه فرق صغير ومزعج بين will و be going to. أغلب المتعلمين بيستخدموا will في كل حاجة، سهلة مش كده؟ بس استخدامها غلط ممكن يخليك تبان زي الروبوت أو زي شخص ما بيعرفش يخطط.
تخيل تقول لمديرك I will finish the report والتقرير كان المفروض يتسلم إمبارح.. هيبان كأنك لسه فاكر الموضوع دلوقتي حالاًَ. أوبس!
الكلام عن المستقبل مش بس عن الوقت، هو كمان عن شعورك تجاه الفعل ده. هل أنت متأكد؟ هل خططت له الأسبوع اللي فات؟
ولا لسه مقرر دلوقتي وأنت بتقلب في تيك توك؟ الإنجليزية بتستخدم will و be going to عشان تعبر عن «المود» ده. will هي صديقتك السريعة اللي بتتصرف في اللحظة، أما be going to فهي صديقتك المنظمة اللي بتحب التخطيط.

It's going to rain فإنت عندك دليل.
أما لو قلت I think humans will live on Mars فأنت مجرد بتخمن. الموضوع زي الفرق بين تطبيق الطقس والكرة البلورية؛ واحد بيستخدم حقائق والتاني بيستخدم مجرد إحساس.

نمط التكوين

1
تكوين الجمل دي بسيط جداً بصراحة. مش محتاج تغير الفعل الأساسي خالص.
2
بالنسبة لـ will بس حطها قبل الفعل الأساسي.
3
بالنسبة لـ be going to محتاج تغير جزء الـ be.
4
استخدم am أو is أو are حسب الشخص.
5
Form | Example | Translation
6
--- | --- | ---
7
Positive | I will call you later. | سأتصل بك لاحقاً.
8
Negative | She won't (will not) go. | لن تذهب.
9
Question | Will they help us? | هل سيساعدوننا؟
10
Going to (+) | I'm going to watch Netflix. | سأشاهد نتفليكس.
11
Going to (-) | We aren't going to cook. | لن نطبخ.
12
Going to (?) | Is he going to call? | هل سيتصل؟
13
نصيحة محترفين: في الكلام السريع، going to غالباً بتتنطق gonna. بس إياك تكتب gonna في تقديم على وظيفة إلا لو كنت عايز تفضل عاطل!

متى نستخدمها

استخدم will للقرارات السريعة. يعني لو أنت في كافيه والويتر سألك على طلبك، هتقول I'll have a latte, please. أنت مكنتش مخطط للاتيه ده من تلات أيام.
كمان استخدمها للوعود؛ I'll always love you طعمها أحلى بكتير من I am going to love you. الأولى عهد طالع من القلب، التانية كأنها مهمة مجدولة في التقويم بتاعك.
استخدم be going to للخطط. لو حجزت طيارة للندن، قول I'm going to London. لو قلت I'll go to London هيبان كأنك ممكن تغير رأيك لو جاتلك حفلة أحلى. كمان استخدمها للتوقعات المبنية على اللي شايفه قدامك دلوقتي. لو بطارية موبايلك 1%، قول My phone is going to die. أنت شايف الدليل قدامك على الشاشة.

الأخطاء الشائعة

ما تستخدمش will للخطط الثابتة. لو عندك اجتماع زووم الساعة 2 الضهر، ما تقولش I will meet them at 2. هيبان كأن الفكرة لسه جاية في بالك فجأة. بدل كده قول I'm going to meet them. غلطة تانية هي نسيان الـ am/is/are في قاعدة going to. جملة I going to eat غلطة كلاسيكية، بتخليك تبان كأنك إنسان غابة. I am going to eat أحسن بكتير. وأخيراً، ابعد عن will للحاجات اللي أكيد هتحصل قريب جداً بسبب دليل مادي. لو فيه فازة بتتهز على الرف، قول It's going to fall! مش It will fall. الجملة التانية كأنها «لعنة» من ساحر.

مقارنة مع أنماط مشابهة

ممكن كمان تشوف المضارع المستمر (Present Continuous) بيستخدم للمستقبل. I'm meeting Sam tonight. دي درجة تأكدها أعلى كمان من going to؛ معناها إن الوقت والمكان خلاص اتحددوا في تقويم جوجل بتاعك.
I'm going to meet Sam دي خطة، بس يمكن لسه ما اخترتوش المطعم. أما I'll meet Sam فده اللي بتقوله لما سام يتصل بيك فجأة ويطلب يقابلك. هي مستويات من التأكد.

أسئلة شائعة

Q

هل ينفع أستخدم will للطقس؟

أيوه، لو بتعمل توقع عام. It will be cold in winter.

Q

هل عادي أستخدم gonna؟

في الكلام ومع أصحابك في الرسايل، طبعاً! في الإيميلات الرسمية، ابعد عنها تماماً.

Q

إيه نفي will؟

هي won't وهي اختصار لـ will not. بتبان طبيعية أكتر بكتير.

Q

هل ينفع أستخدم الاتنين في جملة واحدة؟

أكيد! I'm going to go to the store, and I'll buy some milk while I'm there. الذهاب للمحل كان الخطة؛ وشراء اللبن كان فكرة سريعة جت في بالك وأنت هناك.

اختبار "الآن" السريع

إذا قررت شيئًا في نفس اللحظة التي تتحدث فيها، وكأنك تصفق بيديك وتقول «خطرت لي الفكرة الآن!»، فاستخدم will. مثال: "I'll help you!"
⚠️

تجنب "Will" للمواعيد الثابتة

لا تستخدم will عندما يكون لديك موعد أو اتفاق مسبق. إذا اتفقت مع شخص على وقت ومكان للقاء، فقل: "I'm going to meet her tomorrow."
🎯

قاعدة "الدليل المرئي"

إذا كان هناك دليل واضح أمام عينيك على أن شيئًا ما سيحدث (مثل غيوم سوداء أو كأس على وشك السقوط)، فاستخدم be going to. مثال: "It's going to rain."

Smart Tips

Always use 'I'll have...' rather than 'I'm going to have...'. It sounds more decisive and natural to the waiter.

I am going to have the soup. I'll have the soup, please.

Use 'going to'. If you see a person running very fast toward a door, say 'He's going to open the door'.

He will open the door. He's going to open the door.

Use 'will' to show commitment. 'I will help you' sounds like a stronger promise than 'I am going to help you'.

I am going to help you move house. I will help you move house.

Avoid 'gonna' and even 'I'll'. Write out 'I will' or 'We are going to' to maintain a professional tone.

I'm gonna send the report. I will send the report by EOD.

A man sees a woman struggling with a suitcase. He thinks, 'I'll help her!' (Will - spontaneous). Later, he tells his wife, 'I'm going to buy a new suitcase for our trip' (Going to - plan).

تحدٍّ

Look around the room. Find one thing that is 'going to' happen (e.g., a candle burning out) and make one 'will' decision (e.g., 'I'll drink some water').

ملاحظات ثقافية

British speakers may use 'shall' for offers ('Shall I open the window?'), whereas Americans almost always use 'should' or 'will'.

The use of 'gonna' is extremely prevalent in all but the most formal spoken contexts. Using 'going to' in a casual bar might sound slightly stiff.

Using 'will' for a promise is culturally significant. 'I will' is the standard response in marriage ceremonies.

'Will' comes from Old English 'willan' (to wish/want). 'Going to' developed later as a way to use a verb of movement to show a path toward a future action.

الأسئلة الشائعة (8)

Sometimes, especially for general predictions like 'It will rain' vs 'It's going to rain'. However, for plans vs. spontaneous decisions, they are not interchangeable.

It is a phonetic spelling of how people speak. It is not used in formal writing, but it is very common in songs, movies, and texts.

English is a stress-timed language. We prefer to contract unstressed words like 'will' to keep the rhythm of the sentence.

If you are in doubt, 'going to' is often safer for personal intentions, while 'will' is safer for general facts.

Yes, always. Without the 'be' verb, the sentence is grammatically incomplete.

Yes, for general predictions ('It will be cold in winter'). Use 'going to' if you see clouds right now.

In modern English, 'shall' is mostly used for polite suggestions ('Shall we dance?') or very formal documents.

Move the 'be' verb to the front: 'Are you going to...?'
