Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the Imparfait after 'si' to express a hypothetical situation, followed by the Conditionnel Présent for the result.
- Si + Imparfait = Hypothetical condition (Si j'avais de l'argent...)
- Conditionnel Présent = Result of that condition (...je voyagerais).
- The 'si' clause can come first or second in the sentence.

Imparfait هنا هو استخدام «موقفي» (modal) وليس زمنياً. هو يعادل في العربية «لو كنتُ» أو «لو كان عندي». عندما تقول Si j'avais، فأنت تعني بوضوح: «أنا لا أملك الآن».- 1الشق الثاني:
Conditionnel Présent:
Conditionnel يصف نتيجة منطقية داخل هذا العالم الخيالي. لا يمكن للفعل أن يقع في الواقع إلا إذا تحقق الشرط، وبما أن الشرط خيالي، فالنتيجة خيالية أيضاً.- 1تكوين
Imparfait:
nous في المضارع، احذف ons وأضف النهايات: ais, ais, ait, ions, iez, aient.nous parlons -> parl + ais = parlais.- 1تكوين
Conditionnel:
Imparfait.parler + ais = parlerais.- 1التعبير عن فرضية مستحيلة أو غير مرجحة: مثل قولك
Si j'étais riche, je voyagerais tout le temps(لو كنت غنياً لسافرت طوال الوقت). أنت هنا تضع مسافة بينك وبين الواقع. - 2إعطاء نصيحة مهذبة:
Si j'étais toi, je choisirais cette option(لو كنت مكانك، لاخترت هذا الخيار). هذه الطريقة أكثر لباقة من استخدام صيغة الأمر. - 3طلب مهذب:
Si vous aviez un moment, j'aimerais vous parler(لو كان لديك وقت، لوددت التحدث إليك). هذا الأسلوب شائع جداً في بيئات العمل. - 4التمني:
Si on pouvait changer le passé...(لو كان بإمكاننا تغيير الماضي...). هنا تعبر عن رغبة عميقة في تغيير الواقع.
