Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'және' (and), 'бірақ' (but), and 'немесе' (or) to connect your thoughts into smooth, natural sentences.
- Use 'және' to add information: Мен алма және алмұрт жедім (I ate an apple and a pear).
- Use 'бірақ' to show contrast: Ол келді, бірақ кеш қалды (He came, but he was late).
- Use 'немесе' to offer choices: Шай немесе кофе ішесіз бе? (Will you drink tea or coffee?).
Meanings
These particles serve as the glue for your sentences, allowing you to move from simple phrases to complex, flowing speech.
Addition
Connecting two related items or clauses.
