Adverbs of Manner
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Adverbs of manner describe how an action is performed, usually by using the masculine singular form of the adjective.
- Most adverbs of manner are identical to the masculine singular adjective form: 'El cântă frumos' (He sings beautifully).
- They typically follow the verb they modify: 'Ea scrie repede' (She writes quickly).
- They do not change form based on gender or number, unlike adjectives: 'Ei vorbesc clar' (They speak clearly).

-ly to words. We turn slow into slowly. Romanian is much lazier than English here. It usually uses the exact same form as the adjective.beautiful, you know beautifully. If you know hard, you know hardly (though the meaning differs). The adverb usually sits right after the verb. It stays the same no matter who is acting.نمط التكوين

Then, we have the irregular superstars: bine (well) and rău (badly). These don't look like their adjective cousins bun and proast. But don't worry. You will use bine so often it will become second nature.
