the roal Marines are one of the world's
Elite fighting forces their training
regime is grueling so they need all the
energy they can get from the food they
eat these recruits have being pushed to
the absolute physical and mental limits
I'm dying to find out what fuel actually
keeps them going look at them they look
absolutely hard as Nails I'm meeting
corporals Ben Slater and Tim Richards
who served in Iraq and Afghanistan and
are currently down inav to train up the
new recruits right good to see you both
these recruits train like maniacs and
eat like horses but the food they're
given is Bland and boring it's the
quality of the food that it's important
recruits are here for 32 weeks and
they're going to the same meals day in
day out it gets quite
mundane I'm here to show them that
simple healthy food with all the
nutrition that they need can be tasty
too but first they're going to teach me
a lesson really nervous head down and uh
get on with it I'm going to join 20
recruits on the rugged terrain of
woodrey common for today's exercise the
endurance course so time wise how long
does it take to do this thing well if we
can get off the tunnel course itself
under 25 minutes we'll be both happy the
only problem is I'm running late as PTI
