Wir sagen ganz natürlich: talk about the weather (über das Wetter sprechen) oder argue about politics (über Politik streiten). Dieses Muster ist im Englischen extrem weit verbreitet, genau wie im Deutschen, wo wir *über* etwas sprechen.
Aber das Verb discuss (diskutieren, besprechen) tanzt hier aus der Reihe. Ein sehr häufiger Fehler bei Englischlernern auf dem B1-Niveau und darüber hinaus ist das fälschliche Einfügen von about nach discuss.
