Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The imperative mood is used to give orders or advice, formed by adding suffixes to the verb stem.
- For 'you' (singular), add -и or -й to the stem: 'Пиши!' (Write!)
- For 'you' (plural/formal), add -ете or -йте: 'Пишете!' (Write!)
- Use 'Не' before the verb for negative commands: 'Не пиши!' (Don't write!)
