Use this to give direct instructions or advice based on a specific future possibility: 'If [condition], [do this]!'
- Use Present Simple after 'if' for the condition: 'If you see him...'
- Use the base verb (Imperative) for the result: '...tell him to call me.'
- For negative commands, use 'don't': 'If it rains, don't go out.'
مرور کلی
will و won't هست. مثلاً: If it rains, I will stay home. (اگه بارون بیاد، من خونه میمونم).will یا شکلهای پیچیده فعل باشی. فقط به present simple و شکل پایه فعل (base form) نیاز داری.این گرامر چطور کار میکنه
if-clause هست که صحنه رو آماده میکنه. یه موقعیتی رو توصیف میکنه که ممکنه در آینده اتفاق بیفته.present simple استفاده میکنیم، حتی با اینکه داریم به آینده فکر میکنیم. بخش دوم result clause هست.call, go, eat). فاعلی مثل «تو» (you) وجود نداره چون توی جملات امری، «تو» همیشه فهمیده میشه.If you get lost, call me تبدیل میشه به Call me if you get lost. هر دو کاملاً درستن، هرچند شروع کردن با if معمولاً تأکید بیشتری روی خودِ شرط میذاره. مثل این میمونه که قبل از زدن حرف آخر، شرایط قرارداد رو مشخص کنی.

ترفند حافظه
به «کنترل از راه دور شرطی» فکر کن. عبارت If مثل فشار دادن دکمه توسط توئه. عبارت Imperative مثل تلویزیونه که کانال رو عوض میکنه. تلویزیون نمیگه «من کانال رو عوض خواهم کرد»، اون فقط انجامش میده. اگه دکمه، انجامِ کار!
کی استفاده کنیم
If you feel stressed, take a break. برای دستورالعملها (instructions) یا دفترچههای راهنما استفادهش کن: If the red light blinks, replace the battery. برای هشدارها (warnings) یا تهدیدها (از اون مدلهای هیجانانگیزش!) عالیه: If you touch my fries, prepare for war. همچنین توی کپشنهای شبکههای اجتماعی مدام میبینیش: If you like this post, hit the follow button! برای سفر کردن هم عالیه: If you go to London, bring an umbrella. کلاً هر موقع که یه موقعیت خاص نیاز به یه واکنش خاص داره، این حرکتِ اولِ توئه. این ساختار خیلی مستقیمتر از استفاده از should یا will هست.If the item is damaged, return it within 30 days. واضحه، کاربردیه و کلی در زمان بقیه صرفهجویی میکنه.
اشتباهات رایج
will به فعل امریه. If it rains, will take an umbrella یه اشتباه فاحشه. فعل امری نیازی به will نداره. یه اشتباه کلاسیک دیگه استفاده از زمان اشتباه توی if-clause هست. ممکنه بخوای بگی If you will be hungry... اما یادت باشه که همون If you are hungry رو بگی. معنی آینده، زمان حال. به همین سادگی. همچنین، اگه جمله رو با If شروع میکنی، ویرگول (comma) رو فراموش نکن. این ویرگول مثل یه فضای کوچیک برای نفس کشیدنِ خواننده عمل میکنه. جمله If you're happy and you know it clap your hands بعد از it نیاز به اون ویرگول داره. بدون اون، جمله حسِ یه دویِ طولانی و نفسگیر رو میده. در نهایت، مراقب فاعل توی بخش نتیجه باش. نیازی نیست بگی If you see him, you tell him. فقط بگو If you see him, tell him. اضافه کردن you باعث میشه جمله شبیه یه بیان حقیقت به نظر برسه تا یه دستور. اون انرژیِ «رئیسوار» (boss energy) که دنبالش هستیم رو از دست میده.مقایسه با الگوهای مشابه
will چه فرقی داره؟ همهچیز به قصد و نیت (intent) برمیگرده.If you go to the party, you will see Mark.(این یه پیشبینیه. دارم بهت میگم چه اتفاقی قراره بیفته.)If you go to the party, say hi to Mark!(این یه دستور/درخواسته. دارم بهت میگم چیکار کنی.)
should چطور؟If you are tired, you should sleep.(این یه پیشنهاد نرمه. مؤدبانهست.)If you are tired, sleep!(این خیلی قویتره. یه دستور مستقیمه.)
will استفاده کن. وقتی میخوای خیلی ملایم باشی و شبیه گروهبانهای آموزشی به نظر نرسی، از should استفاده کن.سؤالات رایج

آیا این برای موقعیتهای گذشته هم کاربرد داره؟
نه. این فقط برای چیزهایی هست که ممکنه الان یا در آینده اتفاق بیفتن.
آیا این برای مصاحبه شغلی زیادی دستوری و تنده؟
ممکنه. بهتره به If I am hired, I will work hard بسنده کنی تا اینکه بگی If you hire me, pay me well! مگر اینکه یه مذاکرهکننده خیلی سطح بالا باشی.

بهراحتی اشتباه گرفته میشود
Both use the Present Simple in the if-clause. Learners mix up general facts with specific commands.
Learners use 'will' when they should use a command.

Imperative Stress
The verb in the imperative clause usually carries the primary stress of the sentence because it is the most important action.
