حال کامل: 'Already' در جایگاه میانی

Mastering 'already' in mid-position helps your English flow naturally and precisely convey completion.

Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Place 'already' between 'have/has' and your main verb to show something happened sooner than expected.

  • The 'Sandwich' Rule: Put 'already' between the auxiliary and the past participle (e.g., 'I have already eaten').
  • Use for Surprise: It emphasizes that an action is finished before the current moment or sooner than planned.
  • Avoid Negatives: We rarely use 'already' in negative sentences; use 'yet' instead (e.g., 'I haven't finished yet').
👤 + 🛠️ (have/has) + 🕒 (already) + ✅ (past participle)

متوجه می‌شی که نیتیوها (اصلی‌زبان‌ها) از مخفف‌هایی مثل I've یا You've یا She's همراه با already استفاده می‌کنن.

(I, You, We, They, He, She, It).
3
فعل کمکی (Auxiliary Verb) رو اضافه کن. برای I/You/We/They از have و برای He/She/It از has استفاده کن. بیشتر مردم از حالت کوتاه استفاده می‌کنن (مثلاً I've یا He's).
4
already رو بنداز وسط. این نشونه میانی توئه. همین‌جا می‌مونه.
5
با قسمت سوم فعل (Past Participle) تمومش کن. از حالت سوم فعل استفاده کن (مثلاً seen, eaten, done, finished).
6
Pattern: Subject + have/has + already + past participle
7
Example: They + have + already + left the party.

جدول صرف

فرم مثال ترجمه
--- --- ---
I have I've already posted the photo. من قبلاً عکس را پست کرده‌ام.
You have You've already won the game. تو قبلاً بازی را برده‌ای.
He/She/It has She's already called an Uber. او قبلاً یک اوبر صدا کرده است.
We have We've already seen that movie. ما قبلاً آن فیلم را دیده‌ایم.
They have They've already paid the bill. آن‌ها قبلاً صورت‌حساب را پرداخت کرده‌اند.

کی استفاده کنیم

وقتی می‌خوای تاکید کنی که یه کاری ۱۰۰٪ تموم شده و زود هم انجام شده، از این الگو استفاده کن. اینجا چندتا موقعیت مدرن هست که این گرامر توشون می‌درخشه:
  • زندگی دیجیتال: "I've already replied to your DM." نشون می‌ده که دوستات رو نادیده نمی‌گیری.
  • فیلم و سریال: "We've already binged the whole season." برای وقتایی که شنبه شب هیچ کنترلی روی خودت نداری.
  • خرید: "He's already spent his whole paycheck." همه‌مون بعد از حراج‌های استیم این حال رو تجربه کردیم.
  • سفر:
    The plane has already landed.
عالی برای خبر دادن به مامان‌وبابا توی واتس‌اپ.
  • کار/تحصیل: "I've already sent the email to the professor." حرفه‌ای و زرنگ.
توی انگلیسی آمریکایی، ممکنه بشنوی که مردم می‌گن
I already did it

I have finished my work already.
هرچند از نظر فنی «غیرقانونی» نیست، اما فقط برای وقتی استفاده می‌شه که خیلی غافلگیر شدی. برای یه جمله معمولی، بذارش وسط. نذار already از لبه جمله‌ات بیفته پایین.
  • فراموش کردن 'Has': گفتن
    She already finished
توی آمریکا رایجه، اما برای Present Perfect حتماً باید اون has رو داشته باشی:
    She has already finished.
  • استفاده در جملات منفی: معمولاً نباید بگی "I haven't already eaten.
انگلیسی از yet برای منفی‌ها استفاده می‌کنه:
I haven't eaten yet." کلمه already یه کلمه مثبت و شاده؛ از کلمه not خوشش نمیاد.
  • شکل اشتباه فعل: نگو "I've already went.« از قسمت سوم فعل استفاده کن! »I've already gone."

سطوح رسمی بودن

- **دوستانه (Casual)

** "I've already done it, no worries!" (پیام دادن به یه دوست).

- **رسمی (Formal)

**

We have already processed your application.
(ایمیل رسمی از طرف دانشگاه).

- **خیلی رسمی (Very Formal)

**

The board has already reached a consensus.
(توی یه جلسه کاری).

مقایسه با الگوهای مشابه

زبان‌آموزها اغلب already را با just و yet اشتباه می‌گیرن. بیا این ابهام رو برطرف کنیم:

Already در مقابل Just: کلمه just یعنی همین چند ثانیه یا چند دقیقه پیش اتفاق افتاده ("I've just woken up
). کلمه already یعنی زودتر از چیزی که فکر می‌کردیم اتفاق افتاده (
I've already eaten breakfast" — حتی اگه دو ساعت پیش بوده باشه).
Already در مقابل Yet: کلمه yet برای چیزاییه که منتظرشون هستیم و معمولاً آخر جملات منفی و سوالی میاد (
Has he arrived yet?
). کلمه already برای چیزاییه که تموم شده.
جایگذاری: هر دو کلمه already و just عاشق موقعیت وسط جمله هستن. اما yet یه کلمه تنهاست و آخر جمله می‌شینه.

سؤالات رایج

Q

آیا می‌تونم از already در سوال استفاده کنم؟

بله! وقتی تعجب کردی استفاده‌اش کن.

Have you finished already؟
یعنی: «واو، چه زود تموم کردی!»

Q

آیا باید بنویسیم all ready یا already؟

این دوتا با هم فرق دارن! all ready یعنی همه آماده هستن (

We are all ready to go
). اما already به زمان و تکمیل شدن کار اشاره داره.

Q

آیا already با Past Perfect کار می‌کنه؟

کاملاً.

I had already left when he called.
دقیقاً همون‌طوری کار می‌کنه؛ یعنی همون وسط جمله.

Q

چرا آمریکایی‌ها می‌گن

I already did it
؟

I have already been working for hours.

نکات فرهنگی

In the US, it is very common to use 'already' with the Past Simple (e.g., 'I already ate'). While technically incorrect in traditional grammar, it is standard in casual American speech.

British speakers are much stricter about using the Present Perfect with 'already'. Using the Past Simple can sound uneducated or 'too American' to some.

Using 'already' in mid-position in emails is seen as a sign of proactivity and efficiency. It is a 'power word' in project management.

Derived from the Middle English 'al redy', which was a combination of 'al' (all/completely) and 'redi' (ready/prepared).

Yes, you can, but it's more common in informal speech or when you want to emphasize surprise. For example: 'I've finished it already!'

Rarely. We usually use `yet` for negatives. Instead of 'I haven't already eaten,' we say 'I haven't eaten yet.'

`Just` means it happened a very short time ago (seconds or minutes). `Already` means it happened sooner than expected (could be hours or days ago).

American English often uses the Past Simple with 'already'. In British English, this is considered incorrect; you must use the Present Perfect: 'I have already done it.'

Yes! The rule is the same: 'I had already eaten when he arrived.' It sits between 'had' and the verb.

`Already` is an adverb of time. `All ready` means 'everyone is prepared'. Example: 'We are all ready to go.'

No, 'already' never changes. Only the auxiliary verb changes (have vs. has).

Yes, to express surprise. 'Have you already finished?' means 'Wow, that was fast!'
