Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the subjunctive in Armenian when expressing doubt, uncertainty, or hypothetical scenarios after verbs like 'kaskatsel' (to doubt).
- Use subjunctive after verbs of doubt: 'Kaskatsum em, vor na ga' (I doubt that he will come).
- Use it for negative certainty: 'Chem karcum, vor sa lini' (I don't think this is it).
- Use it for hypothetical wishes: 'Erani na lini' (I wish he were here).
