Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

The Genitive case shows possession or lack of something; just add -o or -os to the end of your nouns.

  • Use it for possession: 'Knyga Jono' (John's book).
  • Use it for negation: 'Neturiu laiko' (I don't have time).
  • Use it for quantities: 'Daug vandens' (A lot of water).
