Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'ja' (จะ) before a verb to express an intention or a future action.

  • Place 'ja' before the main verb: 'chan ja pai' (I will go).
  • For negatives, add 'mai' before 'ja': 'chan mai ja pai' (I will not go).
  • For questions, add 'mai' at the end: 'khun ja pai mai?' (Will you go?).
