Generally, no. The future meaning is carried by the perfective present verb itself. Adding ще is redundant and often considered a mistake.
Когато is a general 'when', while щом is more like 'as soon as' or 'the moment that'. Щом almost always takes a perfective verb.
Yes, but it's more common in spoken Bulgarian. In writing, 'Понеже' or 'Тъй като' are preferred at the start.
'Защото' introduces new information. 'Понеже' is used when the reason is already somewhat known or obvious.
Only if 'ще' is not a future marker but means 'is willing to'. For example: Ако той ще ни помага... (If he is willing to help us). This is rare.
В случай че is more formal, like 'in the event that'. Ако is the standard 'if'.
