Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use the perfective aspect for single, completed goals and the imperfective for ongoing or repeated actions in purpose clauses.

Purpose clauses in Bulgarian use the particle 'да' followed by a verb. The aspect of this verb depends on whether the goal is a single completed event or a continuous process.
