Adverbs of Manner (Tez, Yavaş)
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Adverbs of manner describe how an action is performed and usually come directly before the verb.
- Place the adverb immediately before the verb: 'O tez qaçır' (He runs fast).
- Adverbs do not change form regardless of the subject: 'Mən yavaş danışıram' (I speak slowly).
- Use 'necə' (how) to ask about the manner of an action: 'O necə oxuyur?' (How does he sing?).
