In Iranian business culture, completing a task 'zoodtar az mo'ed' is highly valued as it demonstrates reliability and 'n نظم' (discipline), which helps build trust in long-term partnerships. While punctuality is becoming more common in cities like Tehran, arriving 'zoodtar az mo'ed' to a private dinner party might be seen as slightly inconvenient for the host. It's often better to arrive 'sar-e vaght' (on time) or a few minutes late. In Dari Persian, the phrase is equally common in official government communications and news broadcasts, often used to describe the early completion of infrastructure projects. In Tajik (Cyrillic script: пештар از мӯҳлат), the phrase is used in a similar way, especially in the context of agricultural harvests being ahead of schedule.
