Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use 'ska' for intentions and 'kommer att' for predictions to talk about what happens next.

  • Use 'ska' + infinitive for planned actions: Jag ska resa (I will travel).
  • Use 'kommer att' + infinitive for predictions: Det kommer att regna (It will rain).
  • The main verb is always in the infinitive form without 'att' after these auxiliaries.
