Use 'быть' (to be) + infinitive to describe ongoing actions in the future.

En español, usamos el futuro continuo o simplemente el futuro. En ruso, usamos el Futuro Imperfectivo. Este tiempo es tu mejor amigo para acciones continuas.
Se centra en el proceso, no solo en el resultado final. Es la diferencia entre leeré el libro (y lo terminaré) y
estaré leyendo el libro
. Uno es una meta, el otro es un estado.

How This Grammar Works

Este tiempo es como un set de LEGO con solo dos piezas. No necesitas cambiar el verbo principal para nada. Mantienes el verbo principal en su forma de diccionario (el infinitivo).
Lo único que cambia es el verbo auxiliar быть (ser/estar). Piensa en быть como el motor y el infinitivo como el coche. El motor hace todo el trabajo de mostrar quién está haciendo la acción.
El coche simplemente está ahí y se ve bien. Si sabes cómo conjugar быть, ya has ganado. Simplemente lo pones delante de cualquier verbo imperfectivo.

Ejemplo: Para decir estaré trabajando, toma я буду y añade работать. Resultado: Я буду работать. Es así de fácil. Si puedes recordar estas seis formas de быть, puedes hablar de cualquier acción futura continua. Solo recuerda: usa solo el infinitivo imperfectivo. Si el verbo tiene un prefijo como по- o про-, podría ser perfectivo. Aléjate de esos para este patrón específico. Quédate con las versiones básicas y largas de los verbos.

Common Mistakes

El mayor error es intentar conjugar ambos verbos. Nunca deberías decir я буду работаю. Eso suena como
Yo estaré yo trabajo
. Solo el verbo auxiliar быть cambia su forma. El segundo verbo debe permanecer como un infinitivo. Otro error clásico es usar un verbo perfectivo. No puedes decir я буду прочитать. Los verbos perfectivos (como прочитать) ya tienen su propia forma de futuro. No necesitan быть. Si usas быть, el verbo principal debe ser imperfectivo. Además, ten cuidado con la ortografía de будешь y будете. No olvides ese sonido ё o е en el medio. Los estudiantes a menudo olvidan la у en буду e intentan decir боду. Eso no es una palabra, aunque suene como un fantasma raro. Mantén tus formas de быть afiladas y tus infinitivos simples.

Contrast With Similar Patterns

En ruso, hay dos formas de hablar del futuro. Está el Futuro Simple (Perfectivo) y el Futuro Compuesto (Imperfectivo). El Futuro Simple es para resultados terminados.
Я прочитаю significa terminaré de leer. El Futuro Compuesto (lo que estamos aprendiendo) es para el proceso. Я буду читать significa estaré leyendo.
Piénsalo como una foto frente a un video. El Futuro Simple es una instantánea de la línea de meta. El Futuro Compuesto es el video de toda la carrera.
Los hablantes de español a menudo usan por defecto я буду... porque se siente como voy a..., pero ten cuidado. Si prometes hacer algo, como te llamaré, usa el perfectivo. Si describes tu tarde, como estaré relajándome, usa el imperfectivo.
No uses быть si hablas de una acción completada de una sola vez.
