Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Bulgarian verbs come in pairs: imperfective (process) and perfective (result).
- Use imperfective for ongoing actions: 'Чета книга' (I am reading a book).
- Use perfective for completed results: 'Прочетох книгата' (I read the book).
- Perfective verbs often add a prefix to the imperfective root: 'пиша' -> 'напиша'.

Focus on the duration or repetition of an action.
