In Spanish, months are always masculine and are not capitalized unless they start a sentence.
- All 12 months are masculine: 'el enero', 'el febrero'.
- Months are never capitalized in standard Spanish: 'enero', 'febrero'.
- Use 'en' to say 'in' a month: 'en marzo'.

el+ [عدد] +de+ [ماه] استفاده میکنیم. نکته مهم این است که حرف تعریفelهمیشه قبل از عدد میآید. مثال:Mi cumpleaños es el diez de mayo(تولد من دهم ماه مه است).
- 1بیان زمان وقوع یک رویداد: اگر بخواهید بگویید کاری در یک ماه خاص انجام میشود، از
enاستفاده کنید. مثال:Voy a España en julio(من در ماه ژوئیه به اسپانیا میروم).
- 1توصیف ماه با صفت: اگر بخواهید درباره ویژگی یک ماه صحبت کنید، صفت باید با جنسیت ماه (مذکر) مطابقت داشته باشد. مثال:
El marzo pasado fue frío(ماه مارس گذشته سرد بود).
- 1استفاده از حرف بزرگ: زبانآموزان فارسیزبان که با انگلیسی آشنا هستند، تمایل دارند ماهها را با حرف بزرگ بنویسند (مثلاً
Enero). دلیل آن تداخل زبان انگلیسی است. در اسپانیایی، ماهها اسم عام هستند و باید کوچک نوشته شوند.
- 1اشتباه در جنسیت: گاهی دانشجویان سعی میکنند صفتهای مؤنث برای ماهها به کار ببرند (مثلاً
agosto calurosa). این به دلیل عدم توجه به مذکر بودن ماه است. به یاد داشته باشید که تمام ۱۲ ماه در اسپانیایی مذکر هستند.
- 1حذف حرف اضافه: برخی زبانآموزان فراموش میکنند که برای گفتن تاریخ، حتماً باید از
deبین روز و ماه استفاده کنند. در فارسی ما میگوییم «دهمِ مه»، اما در اسپانیایی باید بگوییدdiez de mayo.
