Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'Եթե' (ete) to talk about real possibilities: if one thing happens, another likely will follow in the future.
- Start the condition with 'Եթե' (ete) followed by the present or subjunctive verb.
- The result clause usually uses the future tense with 'կ-' (k-).
- Use a comma to separate the 'if' clause from the main result clause.

Stop! Don't use 'ունեմ'. Use the subjunctive 'ունենամ'.
Drop the 'ես' (I) or 'դու' (you). The verb ending already tells us who is doing the action.
Use the imperative in the second clause instead of the future.
Don't be confused; it just means 'then'. You don't have to use it when speaking.
