The 'Ot... Te' Frame
Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To make a sentence negative in Khmer, wrap your verb between 'Ot' and 'Te'.
- Place 'Ot' before the verb: 'Ot' + verb.
- Place 'Te' at the very end of the sentence: Verb + 'Te'.
- The subject stays at the beginning: Subject + 'Ot' + Verb + 'Te'.
