To form the past tense in Arabic, simply attach specific suffixes to the root verb based on the subject.
- For 'I', add -tu: katabtu (I wrote).
- For 'You' (masc), add -ta: katabta (You wrote).
- For 'She', add -at: katabat (She wrote).
