اِحْتَرَمَ

Verbs in Arabic change their form based on the subject's gender and number. For 'اِحْتَرَمَ', the past tense form for a singular masculine subject is 'اِحْتَرَمَ' (iḥtarama - he respected).

هُوَ اِحْتَرَمَ الْمُعَلِّمَ. (huwa iḥtarama al-muʿallima - He respected the teacher.)

هُوَ يَحْتَرِمُ رَأْيَ الْآخَرِينَ. (huwa yaḥtarimu raʾya al-ākharīna - He respects the opinions of others.)

The present tense form for a singular feminine subject is 'تَحْتَرِمُ' (taḥtarimu - she respects).

هِيَ تَحْتَرِمُ وَعْدَهَا. (hiya taḥtarimu waʿdahā - She respects her promise.)
