Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use this to talk about past events that didn't happen: 'If I had done X, Y would have happened.'
- Use Past Perfect in the 'if' clause: 'যদি আমি জানতাম' (If I had known).
- Use 'would have' + past participle in the result clause: 'তাহলে আমি আসতাম' (Then I would have come).
- This structure is strictly for impossible past situations that cannot be changed.

Meanings
This conditional describes a hypothetical past situation and its imaginary result. It is used to express regrets or speculate about how things might have been different.
