Der „The fact that“-Trick
Was machst du aber, wenn du unbedingt einen ganzen Satz (Subjekt + Verb) anschließen möchtest? Im Deutschen sagen wir oft: „Trotz der Tatsache, dass...“. Im Englischen funktioniert das exakt genau so.
Du nutzt die Phrase the fact that als Brücke. Da fact ein Nomen ist, ist die grammatikalische Regel der Präposition erfüllt, und danach kannst du ganz normal weiterschreiben.
