if-clause از Present Continuous استفاده میکنیم، داریم روی کاری تمرکز میکنیم که همین الان در حال انجامه یا یه قرار و مدار قطعی برای آینده نزدیکه.If you're going out, can you grab me a coffee? (اگه داری میری بیرون، میتونی برام یه قهوه بگیری؟). تو از حالت استمراری استفاده میکنی چون پروسه «بیرون رفتن» از قبل شروع شده.
الگوی ساخت
if + [Subject] + [am/is/are] + [verb-ing] استفاده کن. این همون Present Continuous استاندارد خودته.
will/won't] + [base verb] استفاده کن. اینم که همون Future Simple استاندارد هست.

اشتباهات رایج
will داخل if-clause. خیلی وسوسهکنندهست، اما کل حس جمله رو خراب میکنه.- ✗

be هست ([am/is/are]). نمیتونی فقط بگی If you working. اینجوری انگار داری در حالی که دنبال اتوبوس میدوی پیام میدی! برای اینکه جملهت سرپا بمونه، به اون are نیاز داری. همچنین، حواست به verb-ing باشه. بدون -ing دیگه استمراری نیست و اون حس «در جریان بودن» از بین میره. مثل این میمونه که بخوای تریلر یه فیلم رو ببینی، اما فقط یه عکس ثابت باشه. اونقدرها هیجانانگیز نیست، مگه نه؟مقایسه با الگوهای مشابه

If he were studying, he would pass.(داره درس نمیخونه، احتمالاً داره ماینکرفت بازی میکنه).

Meanings
A variation of the first conditional where the 'if' clause (condition) uses the present continuous to emphasize that the action is currently in progress or is a settled future arrangement.
