Use the conditional tense to describe a future event from the perspective of a past moment.

Conditionnel Présent के माध्यम से व्यक्त किया जाता है। देखो, जब हम किसी ऐसी बात को रिपोर्ट करते हैं जो भविष्य में होने वाली थी, लेकिन वह बात किसी बीते हुए समय में कही गई थी, तो हमें फ्रेंच में काल (tense) बदलना पड़ता है। इसे व्याकरण की भाषा में la concordance des temps यानी 'कालों का सामंजस्य' कहते हैं।Passé Composé या Imparfait में। अगर मूल वाक्य भविष्य काल (Futur Simple) में था, तो रिपोर्ट करते समय वह Conditionnel Présent में बदल जाएगा।viendrai (मैं आऊंगा) बदलकर viendrait (वह आता/वह आएगा) हो जाता है।Je viendrai (मैं आऊंगा)। अगर आप शाम को किसी और को बताते हैं, तो आप कहेंगे, "Il a dit qu'il viendrait" (उसने कहा था कि वह आएगा)। यहाँ viendrait का उपयोग यह बताने के लिए है कि उसके उस समय के दृष्टिकोण से वह भविष्य था। यह Conditionnel का एक विशेष उपयोग है जिसे 'Future in the Past' कहते हैं। यह बिल्कुल वैसा ही है जैसे अंग्रेजी में 'will' का 'would' हो जाना।Conditionnel Présent बनाने के लिए हम Futur Simple का स्टेम (stem) लेते हैं और उसमें Imparfait के अंत (endings) जोड़ते हैं।parler क्रिया का रूप:- Je parlerais (मैं बोलता/बोलूंगा)
