Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the Conditional Perfect to talk about hypothetical past actions that didn't happen.
- Use the 'would' form (k- prefix) + past participle + 'ei' (I was).
- Negative: Add 'chei' before the verb form.
- Questions: Use the same structure with rising intonation.

Meanings
Expresses an action that would have occurred in the past under different circumstances.
Hypothetical Past
Unrealized past events.
“Ես կասեի, բայց չհասցրեցի։”

Softening a past expectation.
