Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'എന്ത്' (entu) to ask 'what' in Malayalam by placing it before the verb or at the start of the sentence.
- Use 'എന്ത്' for objects or actions: 'ഇതെന്ത്?' (What is this?)
- Place it at the start for emphasis: 'എന്ത് പറ്റി?' (What happened?)
- It does not change based on gender or number: 'അതെന്ത്?' (What is that?)
