quelque وظيفتين أساسيتين:- كصفة نكرة (Indefinite Adjective): هنا تكون
quelque(أوquelquesللجمع) محددة للاسم. تعادل في العربية «بعض» أو «بضعة». هي متغيرة وتتبع الاسم في العدد. مثال:quelques amis(بعض الأصدقاء). لاحظ أنها تشبه في العربية كلمة «بضعة» التي تتبع تمييزاً. - كظرف (Adverb): هنا تكون
quelqueغير قابلة للتغيير (Invariable). تأتي قبل الأعداد بمعنى «تقريباً» (quelque cent personnes- حوالي مئة شخص)، أو في تركيبات التعبير عن التسليم بمعنى «مهما» (Quelque intelligent qu'il soit- مهما كان ذكياً). هنا تقابل في العربية «مهما» + فعل.
