Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use 'ຕອນ' (ton) or 'ໃນຂະນະທີ່' (nai kha-na thi) to set the background action before an interruption occurs.
- Use 'ຕອນ' + [Action] to describe the background: ຕອນຂ້ອຍກິນເຂົ້າ (When I was eating).
- Follow with the interrupting event: ໂທລະສັບດັງ (the phone rang).
