現在完了形:人生経験 (見たことがあります)

あなたの個人的な「«経験»」の«物語»を、「«いつ»」という«日時»を«特定»せずに共有するための、便利な形だよ。

Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds

Use the Present Perfect to talk about things you have done at any point in your life without saying exactly when.

  • Use 'have/has' + the past participle (V3) of the verb. Example: 'I have traveled.'
  • Never use specific time words like 'yesterday' or 'in 2010' with this tense. Example: 'I've seen it.'
  • Use 'ever' for questions and 'never' for negatives to emphasize experience. Example: 'Have you ever flown?'
👤 Subject + ➕ have/has + 🏁 Past Participle (V3)

Overview

話を合わせるためだけに、実際には見ていない映画を自慢したことはある? パーティーで友達に I've seen that!

How This Grammar Works

この時制を「架け橋」だと考えてみて。片側は過去。もう片側は今(現在)。時間を示さずに Present Perfect を使うとき、「いつ」なのかはミステリーだ。不明か、あるいは全く重要じゃないかのどっちかだね。重要なのは*結果*や*経験*だ。もし I have lost my phone, (携帯をなくしちゃった)と言えば、重要なのは*今*あなたが携帯を持っていないということ。もし I have been to Paris,

Formation Pattern

1
この時制を組み立てるのは、サンドイッチを作るようなもの。2つのメイン具材と、主語(Subject)が必要だ。
2
まずは Subject (主語)から始めよう(I, You, We, They, He, She, It)。
3
次に助動詞を加える: havehas だ。
4
I, you, we, they には have を使う。
5
he, she, it には has を使う。
6
そして Past Participle (過去分詞/動詞のV3形)を加える。
7
規則動詞なら、単に -ed を付けるだけ(例: worked, played)。
8
不規則動詞なら、暗記するしかない(例: seen, eaten, gone)。
9
重要yesterdayat 5 PM のような特定の時間を付け足してはいけない
10
| Subject | Auxiliary | Past Participle | Example Sentence |
11
|---------|-----------|-----------------|------------------|
12
| I / You / We / They | have | seen | I have seen it. |
13
| He / She / It | has | eaten | She has eaten. |
14
| I / You / We / They | haven't | finished | We haven't finished. |
15
| He / She / It | hasn't | called | He hasn't called. |
16
I に対して has を使うのは、サンダルに靴下を履くようなもの。技術的には可能だけど、周りからは変な目で見られるよ。助動詞は正しく使い分けよう!

When To Use It

旅人っぽく聞こえたいときに、このパターンを使おう。 I've been to Thailand (タイに行ったことがある)は、 I went there in 2018. (2018年にそこへ行った)と言うよりずっとクールに聞こえる。その経験が、今の自分の一部であることを暗示しているからね。お寿司を試したり、スカイダイビングをしたりといった「人生経験」に使おう。現在の結果を伴う「最近の行動」にも完璧だ。 I've finished my homework! (宿題終わった!)は、これでマインクラフトで遊ぶ自由ができたってこと。行動が何度も起きたときにも使う。
I've watched this show three times. (この番組を3回見たよ。) これは習慣や繰り返された経験を示している。「時間の経過による変化」にもいいね。 Your English has improved! (英語上達したね!) これは、前はもっと下手だったけど、今は良くなったという意味だ。「達成」や「未完了のタスク」にも使おう。 Scientists have discovered a new planet. (科学者たちが新しい惑星を発見した。) いつ見つけたかなんてどうでもよくて、それが今存在していることが重要なのさ。ソーシャルメディアで定番の時制でもある。
I've just posted a new photo! (新しい写真アップしたよ!) (結果としてフィードに載っている)。これは「ニュース」や「最新情報」の時制なんだ。有名人のゴシップを話すなら、これを使うことになるだろう。 Have you heard? They've broken up! (聞いた?
あの人たち別れたんだって!) 愛し合うのをやめた正確な分(minute)なんて誰も聞いちゃいない。別れたということがニュースなんだ。

Common Mistakes

ここで犯せる最大の罪は、時間に言及することだ。 I have seen him yesterday は文法上の重罪にあたる。もし yesterday, last week, in 1999 が見えるなら、絶対に Past Simple を使わなきゃいけない。もう一つの間違いは、 havehas を混同すること。 He have finished なんて、マトリックスのバグ(glitch)みたいに聞こえるよ。 「三人称単数」(He, She, It)には必ず has を使おう。過去分詞も忘れずに! I have saw it は間違い。3番目の形、 seen が必要だ。助動詞を完全に忘れちゃう人もいるね。 I seen it は一部の方言では一般的だけど、B1試験には合格できないよ。もう一つの罠は beengone だ。 He has been to the store は、彼はもう戻ってきているという意味。 He has gone to the store は、彼はまだ店にいる(行ってしまってここにはいない)という意味だ。もしロンドンに立っている状態で I have gone to London と言ったら、幽霊だと思われるよ。そこは I have come to London か、単に I'm in London. と言うべきだね。不規則動詞には気をつけて。あれは英文法の「ラスボス(final bosses)」だ。 Drinkdrank じゃなくて drunk になるし、 Singsang じゃなくて sung になる。自然に感じるようになるまで練習あるのみ!

Contrast With Similar Patterns

Present PerfectPast Simple をボクシングのリングに上げてみよう。青コーナーは Past SimpleI ate pizza)。具体的で、完了していて、タイムスタンプが付いている。2015年の古いインスタ投稿みたいなものだ。赤コーナーは Present PerfectI have eaten pizza)。一般的で、経験について話している。今の「プロフィール(Bio)」や「ハイライト」みたいなものだ。「いつ」が重要なら、 Past Simple を使う。 I went to the gym at 8 AM. (朝8時にジムに行った。) 「事実」が重要なら、 Present Perfect を使う。 I've been to the gym (look at my muscles). (ジムに行ってきたんだ(筋肉を見てよ)。) 映画のエンドロールだと思ってみて。
Past Simple は映画が公開された日付。 Present Perfect は、あなたがそれを見たという事実だ。あと、 Present Perfect ContinuousI have been eating)とも比べてみよう。そっちは*期間*や*行動*そのものに焦点を当てている。 I have eaten はピザがもうなくなったという意味。
I have been eating は、まだ顔にトマトソースがついてるってこと。完了した達成に焦点を当てたいときは、シンプルな方(Present Perfect)を使おう。会話の中で自分の「経験の履歴書」を作るために使うんだ。

Quick FAQ

Q

I've done it now と言ってもいい?

もちろん! Now は現在の結果を指すからOKだよ。過去の日付だけは避けてね。

Q

I have beenI was の違いは?

I have been はあなたの人生の歴史。 I was は終わってしまった特定の瞬間だ。

Q

I'veI have と同じ?

そう、短縮形だね。テキストやチャットでは I've を使ったほうが自然に聞こえるよ。

Q

alreadyyet は必要?

使ってもいいけど、*必須*ではないよ。味付け(ニュアンス)を加えるだけのものさ。

Q

なんで 'Perfect' (完了)って呼ばれるの?

文法において 'perfect' は「完了した(completed)」って意味なんだ。欠点がない(flawless)って意味じゃないよ。

Q

これって元カレ/元カノ(ex)にも使える?

I have forgotten them. (彼らのことは忘れたよ。) イエス。この時制のとても強力で健全な使い方だね。

Q

この時制はアメリカ英語でも使われる?

使われるよ。でもアメリカ人はイギリス人が Present Perfect を使うところで Past Simple を使うことがよくある。 I ate alreadyI've already eaten. みたいな感じ。B1レベルならどっちでも大丈夫!

Q

不規則動詞はどうやって覚えたらいい?

アプリを使ったり、歌を歌ったり、とにかくたくさん読んだりすることだね。近道は存在しないんだ、ごめんよ!

Smart Tips

Stop! If you use those words, you cannot use 'have'. Switch to the Past Simple immediately.

I have seen him yesterday. I saw him yesterday.

Answer 'Yes, I have' or 'No, I haven't' first, then use the Past Simple to give the details.

Yes, I have been to Paris in 2019. Yes, I have. I went there in 2019.

Use 'never' instead of 'not ever'. It sounds much more natural and strong.

I haven't ever been to the moon. I've never been to the moon.

Check if there is an '-ing' verb. If not, it's likely the Present Perfect of 'be' (experience).

He's been to Spain. (Experience) He's been going to Spain. (Duration/Habit)

In casual US speech, the Past Simple often replaces the Present Perfect for recent experiences, especially with 'already' or 'yet'.

The Present Perfect is the standard for 'small talk' before meetings to find common ground without being too personal about dates.

The Present Perfect developed in Germanic languages as a way to show the 'result' of an action. It literally meant 'I possess [the result of] having done something.'

よくある質問 (8)

No. You must say `I saw that movie yesterday` because 'yesterday' is a specific time. Use Present Perfect only if you don't say when.

`Been` means you went and came back. `Gone` means you are still there. For life experiences, we usually use `been`.

No, but it's very common. `Have you been to London?` is a normal question. `Have you ever been to London?` emphasizes the experience over your whole life.

Yes, in the context of the Present Perfect. However, 'He's' can be 'He is' or 'He has'. You can tell by the verb that follows.

In American English, it is common to use Past Simple with 'already' or 'yet' (e.g., `I already ate`). However, in formal writing and British English, Present Perfect is preferred.

Generally, no. We use Past Simple for people who are no longer alive because their 'life suitcase' is closed. `Elvis Presley performed in many cities` (not 'has performed').

Usually just once. It typically goes between 'have' and the verb: `I have already seen it.`

You can add the number of times at the end: `I have visited Rome five times.` This is a classic use of the experiential perfect.
