Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the indicative for facts ('even though') and the subjunctive for hypothetical or unknown situations ('even if').

aunque 節が文頭に来る場合は必ずカンマを打ちます。また、aunque を使う際は、主節（結論部分）が直説法や命令法であることが一般的です。接続法はあくまで aunque 節の中に留まるというルールを覚えておきましょう。- 1客観的な状況説明：ビジネスや日常の報告で、「問題はあるが、実行する」という事実を伝える場合です。
Aunque el proyecto es complejo, lo terminaremos.（プロジェクトは複雑だが、終わらせる）。ここでは事実を認めることが重要なので直説法を使います。
- 1未来への備え：計画を立てる際、「万が一～だとしても」という想定を置く場合です。
Aunque llegues tarde, te esperaré.（たとえ遅れても、待っているよ）。これは日本語の「～ても」の感覚に最も近いです。
- 1相手の意見を封じ込める：議論の際、相手の主張を一度受け止めた上で自分の意志を貫く場合です。
Aunque tengas razón, no estoy de acuerdo.（君が正しいとしても、私は同意しない）。ここでtengasと接続法を使うことで、「君が正しいのは分かっている（でも関係ない）」という強い意志が伝わります。
- 1「いくら～しても」という強調：
Por más queやPor mucho queを使う場合です。これらは接続法とセットで、「どんなに努力しても無駄だ」というニュアンスを強めます。Por mucho que intentes, no cambiará.（いくら試しても、変わらないだろう）。
- 1「二重接続法」の誤用：日本語話者は「～ても～も」と並列する癖があるため、主節まで接続法にしてしまうことがあります。
Aunque llueva, vayamos al parque.は誤りです。主節はvamos（直説法）が正解です。主節は「事実」や「意志」を述べる場所だからです。
- 1接続法の過剰使用：何でもかんでも接続法にすれば丁寧だ、という誤解です。相手が知らない新しい情報を伝えるのに
aunque+ 接続法を使うと、相手は「え、そんなこと知ってるよ？」という気分になります。事実の報告には必ず直説法を使いましょう。

a pesar deとの混同：a pesar deは前置詞なので、後ろに動詞を置くなら必ず「不定詞（infinitivo）」です。A pesar de queとなれば後ろは活用形です。A pesar de estaba cansadoというのは、日本語の「～にもかかわらず」を直訳しようとして起きる典型的な助詞の混同です。
