Como funciona essa gramática
Os verbos árabes são construídos sobre três letras raízes. Para beber, são Sh - R - B (ش - ر - ب).
A mágica acontece com as vogais entre essas letras.
  • Passado: A vogal do meio é um som de 'i' (Kasra). Então é shariba, não sharaba.
  • Presente: A vogal do meio muda para um som de 'a' (Fatha). Então é yashrabu.
Essa mudança de vogal i para a é um padrão comum para verbos envolvendo sentidos ou estados, mas shariba é o verbo de ação mais comum neste grupo.
