Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the Pluperfect Subjunctive in the 'if' clause and the Conditional in the result clause to link past actions to present outcomes.
- Use 'se' + Pretérito Mais-que-perfeito Composto do Subjuntivo for the past condition: 'Se eu tivesse estudado...'
- Use the Futuro do Pretérito (Conditional) for the present result: '...eu estaria formado agora.'
- Ensure the result is a state or situation existing in the present, not a past event.

Subjuntivo في البرتغالية هو «روح» الجملة، وهو ما يعبر عن عدم اليقين، تماماً مثلما نستخدم صيغ الشرط في العربية الفصحى للتعبير عن المستحيل أو غير الواقعي.- 1خطأ استخدام
Imperfeito do Indicativoبدلاً منCondicional: يقع المتحدث العربي في فخ استخدام الماضي البسيط (مثلpassava) بدلاً منpassaria. السبب هو أننا في العربية نستخدم «كان + الفعل المضارع» (كان يذهب) لنفس الغرض، فيظن المتعلم أن البرتغالية تعمل بنفس الطريقة. هذا مقبول في العامية البرازيلية لكنه خطأ فادح في الفصحى.
- 1خلط الأزمنة في جملة الشرط: يميل المتعلم العربي إلى وضع
Condicionalداخل جملةse(مثلاً:Se eu teria...). هذا خطأ ناتج عن التداخل مع اللغة الإنجليزية أو محاولة ربط النتيجة بالشرط بشكل خاطئ. في البرتغالية،seلا تقبل أبداًCondicional؛ يجب أن يتبعها دائماًSubjuntivo.
