Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
The subjunctive mood expresses desires, possibilities, or hypothetical actions, often triggered by specific conjunctions like 'թե' or 'որ'.
- Use it after 'թող' (let) for commands: 'Թող նա գա' (Let him come).
- Use it in conditional clauses: 'Եթե գար, կտեսնեիր' (If he came, you would see).
- Use it for indirect wishes: 'Կուզեի, որ նա իմանար' (I would like him to know).

Meanings
The subjunctive mood (ենթադրական եղանակ) is used to express actions that are not factual but rather desired, possible, or hypothetical.
Hypothetical/Conditional
Actions dependent on a condition.
“Եթե ժամանակ ունենայի, կգայի։”
“Նա կխոսեր, եթե հարցնեիր։”
Desire/Wish
Expressing a preference or hope.
“Ցանկանում եմ, որ նա հաջողի։”
