Use 'donde' to connect a place to an action, acting as a bridge between a location and what happens there.

Overview
donde という言葉です。日本語で言えば「〜するところ」「〜する場所」にあたる、いわゆる「関係副詞」と呼ばれるものです。皆さんは日本語で「私が住んでいる町」「彼が働いている会社」のように、場所を名詞で修飾する表現を日常的に使っていますよね。スペイン語では、この機能を持つのが donde です。この言葉を使いこなせるようになると、単なる短い文章を繋ぎ合わせるだけでなく、より自然で知的な文章を作れるようになります。donde という特別なつなぎ言葉を置く必要があるという点です。例えば、「ここは私が働く場所です」と言いたいとき、スペイン語では Esta es la oficina donde trabajo. となります。donde は、場所を表す名詞（先行詞）と、そこで行われる動作を繋ぐ「架け橋」のような役割を果たします。一度覚えてしまえば、どんな場所の話でも応用が利く、非常に便利なツールです。最初は難しく感じるかもしれませんが、日本語の「〜する場所」という感覚をそのまま donde に置き換える練習をすれば、すぐに慣れることができますよ！donde の役割を一言で言うと、「場所を示す名詞を、あとの文章に繋ぐ接着剤」です。日本語の文法で言うと、場所を表す名詞を修飾する「連体修飾節」を作るための接続詞のような働きをします。日本語では「私が（主語）働く（述語）場所（名詞）」という語順ですが、スペイン語では「場所（名詞） ＋ donde ＋ 私が働く（主語・述語）」という順序になります。- 1
