I did it accidentally. - چرا این اشتباه رخ میدهد؟ در زبان فارسی، گاهی مرز بین صفت و قید بسیار کمرنگ است. مثلاً کلمه «سریع» هم صفت است (ماشینِ سریع) و هم قید (او سریع دوید). به همین دلیل، زبانآموز ایرانی ممکن است فراموش کند که در انگلیسی برای توصیف یک فعل (مثل did)، حتماً باید از قید (پسوند ly) استفاده کند و استفاده از صفت (
