(چند تا استیج اونجا هست؟) اما ممکنه غر بزنی که: There isn’t much space to dance. (فضای زیادی برای رقصیدن نیست). اولی نیاز به شمردن استیجها داره (۱، ۲، ۳...) و دومی داره فضای کلی رو اندازه میگیره. اگه از much موقع حرف زدن با دوستات اشتباه استفاده کنی، ممکنه شبیه یه شاعر عصر ویکتوریا یا یه رباتِ کمی گیج به نظر برسی، پس درست یاد گرفتنش بهت کمک میکنه که در سال ۲۰۲۶ شبیه یه آدم واقعی به نظر بیای.این گرامر چطور کار میکنه

(امروز چقدر وقت برای اسکرول کردن هدر دادم؟). اولی درباره یه عدد دقیقه، دومی درباره جریان مداوم زمانه. این تفاوتِ بین اندازهگیری مقدار در مقابل شمردن واحدهاست.
الگوی ساخت
friends (دوستها)، coffee (قهوه)، time (زمان) یا problems (مشکلات)؟
-s اضافه کنی؟ میتونی بگی «یکی...، دو تا...، سه تا...»؟ اگه آره، پس قابلشمارشه. اگه عجیب به نظر میاد (مثل «سه تا شکرها» - مگر اینکه منظورت بستههای شکر باشه!)، پس غیرقابلشمارشه.

Much جمع: گفتنmuch peopleیاmuch books. از اونجایی که آدمها و کتابها راحت شمرده میشن، حتماً باید ازmanyاستفاده کنی. استفاده ازmuchاینجا باعث میشه طوری به نظر بیای که انگار به انسانها مثل یه تودهی گوشتی بزرگ و واحد نگاه میکنی، که خب یه کم ترسناکه! - اشتباه در مورد
Money: این یکی خیلی شایعه. ما دلارها، یوروها و تومانها رو میشماریم، اما خودِ کلمه «پول» (money) رو نمیشماریم. نمیتونی بگی «من پنج تا پول دارم». بنابراین، همیشه میگیمHow

کلمه data با much میاد یا many؟
توی اصطلاحات تکنولوژی امروزی، ما معمولاً با data مثل یک اسم غیرقابلشمارش رفتار میکنیم. "I don't have much data left on my roaming plan." (حجم دیتای زیادی روی طرح رومینگم نمونده). سختگیرهای گرامری ممکنه بگن این کلمه جمعه، اما مگر اینکه داری یه مقاله علمی مینویسی، از همون much استفاده کن.
