Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
To conjugate regular -ir verbs, remove the -ir and add the specific endings: -o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en.
- Drop the -ir: 'vivir' becomes 'viv-'.
- Add the ending: 'Yo vivo' (I live).
- Note the 'i' in nosotros/vosotros: 'vivimos' (we live).
