Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use the conditional mood to report unconfirmed news, rumors, or allegations without taking responsibility for the truth of the statement.
- Use it for news reports: 'Le suspect aurait fui le pays.' (The suspect allegedly fled the country.)
- Use it for rumors: 'Il y aurait des problèmes dans l'entreprise.' (There are supposedly problems at the company.)
- Avoid it for facts: Only use it when the information is not yet verified or official.

Le gouvernement aurait décidé d'augmenter les impôts(دولت ظاهراً تصمیم گرفته مالیاتها را افزایش دهد). - 2در محیطهای اداری و حرفهای: وقتی میخواهید حدس خود را در مورد یک رویداد بیان کنید بدون اینکه قطعی به نظر برسید. مثلاً:
La réunion serait reportée à la semaine prochaine(جلسه احتمالاً به هفته آینده موکول شده است). - 3در زندگی روزمره و شایعات: برای نقلقول کردن از دیگران. مثلاً:
D'après les voisins, ils auraient gagné au loto(به گفته همسایهها، آنها ظاهراً در لاتاری برنده شدهاند). - 4در متون علمی: برای بیان فرضیههایی که هنوز به اثبات نهایی نرسیدهاند. مثلاً:
Ce vaccin aurait une efficacité de 90%(این واکسن ظاهراً ۹۰ درصد اثربخشی دارد).
- 1تداخل با جملات شرطی (
Si): فارسیزبانان اغلب فکر میکنند چون نام این زمان «شرطی» است، حتماً باید یک جمله باSi(اگر) داشته باشند. این یک اشتباه رایج است. در کاربرد خبری، این فعل به تنهایی میآید و نیازی به «اگر» ندارد. - 2استفاده از زمان اشتباه: گاهی فارسیزبانان برای اتفاقی که دیروز افتاده، از
Conditionnel Présentاستفاده میکنند. به یاد داشته باشید: برای گذشته حتماً باید ازConditionnel Passéاستفاده کنید (مثلاًaurait faitنهferait). - 3عدم مطابقت اسم مفعول: در
Conditionnel Passéبا افعال حرکتی (مانندallerیاpartir)، اسم مفعول باید با فاعل مطابقت کند (اضافه کردنeبرای مؤنث وsبرای جمع). فارسیزبانان به دلیل نبود جنسیت دستوری در فارسی، این نکته را فراموش میکنند.
