Salut ! Si tu apprends le persan, tu as probablement déjà remarqué que poser des questions est la clé pour sortir de ta zone de confort. Aujourd'hui, on va décortiquer l'outil le plus polyvalent de ta boîte à outils linguistique : chetor (چطور).
En français, on utilise le mot « comment » pour quasiment tout ce qui touche à la manière, à l'état ou à la qualité. C'est exactement le rôle de chetor en persan.
Pourquoi est-ce important ? Parce qu'en tant que francophones, nous avons une structure grammaticale très rigide (Sujet-Verbe-Complément). Le persan, lui, est une langue à verbe final.
Chetor ne se contente pas de traduire « comment », il agit comme un curseur qui demande à l'interlocuteur de décrire un processus ou un ressenti. Contrairement au français où « comment » peut parfois être remplacé par des locutions complexes, chetor est invariant. Il ne s'accorde ni en genre ni en nombre.

En français, pour poser une question, on a plusieurs options : l'inversion (« Comment vas-tu ? »), l'utilisation de « est-ce que » (« Comment est-ce que tu vas ? ») ou le registre familier (« Tu vas comment ?
»). En persan, la structure est beaucoup plus stable. Chetor se place généralement juste avant le verbe.
C'est là que réside la différence majeure avec le français : le verbe est le point d'ancrage.
Le persan ne connaît pas le genre grammatical. En français, on doit souvent faire attention à l'accord (ex: « Comment est-elle ? » vs « Comment est-il ?
»). En persan, chetor est totalement neutre. La seule chose qui change, c'est la conjugaison du verbe qui suit.
C'est là que tu dois être vigilant. Si tu demandes « Comment allez-vous ? », le verbe doit porter la terminaison de la deuxième personne du pluriel (-id).
Un point crucial pour nous, francophones, est la contraction. En français parlé, on dit « Comment ça va ? » et on contracte souvent.
En persan, c'est encore plus marqué. Le verbe « être » (boodan) fusionne littéralement avec chetor. Par exemple, chetor ast (comment est-il/elle ?) devient très souvent chetore dans la vie de tous les jours.
