C'est la grammaire des regrets, des excuses et des rêveries. C'est ainsi que tu parles de choses qui ne se sont pas produites mais qui *auraient pu*. En français, on s'emmêle avec "Si j'avais su, je serais allé".
En hindi ? C'est étonnamment rythmé et cohérent. Tu vas adorer ça parce que ça te donne l'air d'un locuteur natif instantanément.

How This Grammar Works

Vois ça comme la règle du Ta-Ta. Non, pas un au revoir. Je veux dire le son à la fin des verbes.
En français, nous changeons radicalement de temps entre la partie Si (avais fait) et la partie résultat (aurais fait). En hindi, nous les mettons en miroir. Les deux côtés de la phrase — la condition et le résultat — utilisent exactement la même forme verbale : le Participe Imparfait (la racine du verbe + ta, te ou ti).
Cela crée un effet de rime incroyablement satisfaisant à dire. Cela signale à l'auditeur : "Hé, nous entrons maintenant dans le Multivers de la Folie ; rien de tout cela n'est réel."

  • Hypothèses : "Si j'étais milliardaire, j'achèterais Twitter." (Mais je ne le suis pas, donc je tweete juste des plaintes.)
  • Excuses : "S'il n'y avait pas autant de trafic, je serais à l'heure !" (Logique classique de Mumbai.)

Common Mistakes

Le plus grand piège est d'essayer de traduire la grammaire française/anglaise trop littéralement.
  • Le Piège du Ga : Les apprenants essaient souvent d'utiliser le futur (ga/ge/gi) parce qu'ils pensent au conditionnel. Ne fais pas ça ! Si c'est hypothétique/irréel, reste avec ta/te/ti.
  • Oublier le To : En français, on dit
    Si je pars, je mange
    . En hindi, ce to est le pont qui maintient la phrase ensemble. Ne brûle pas le pont.
  • Confusion de Genre : Rappelle-toi, la terminaison du verbe doit correspondre au sujet *des deux côtés*. Si tu es une fille (main), les deux verbes doivent se terminer par ti.
