How This Grammar Works

Pense nisso como a regra do Ta-Ta. Não, não é um tchau. Quero dizer o som no final dos verbos.
Em português, mudamos os tempos drasticamente entre a parte do Se (tivesse feito) e a parte do resultado (teria feito). Em hindi, nós os espelhamos. Ambos os lados da frase — a condição e o resultado — usam exatamente a mesma forma verbal: o Particípio Imperfectivo (a raiz do verbo + ta, te, ou ti).

Common Mistakes

A maior armadilha é tentar traduzir a gramática do português/inglês literalmente demais.
  • A Armadilha do Ga: Aprendizes frequentemente tentam usar o tempo futuro (ga/ge/gi) porque pensam no futuro do pretérito (teria). Não faça isso! Se é hipotético/irreal, fique com ta/te/ti.
  • Esquecer o To: Em português, dizemos
    Se eu for, eu como
    . Em hindi, esse to é a ponte que mantém a frase unida. Não queime a ponte.
  • Confusão de Gênero: Lembre-se, a terminação do verbo deve combinar com o sujeito *em ambos os lados*. Se você é uma garota (main), ambos os verbos devem terminar em ti.
