weder... noch خیلی شیک و راحت میتونی دو تا چیزو همزمان رد کنی، بدون اینکه از کلمههای منفی اضافه مثل nicht استفاده کنی.

weder... noch رو همه جا میبینی، از ایمیلهای رسمی گرفته تا غر زدنهای معمولی توی تیکتاک. برای این موقعیتها عالیه:- رد کردن دعوتها: وقتی میخوای همزمان دو تا رویداد رو «بپیچونی».
- توصیف محدودیتها: «گوشی من نه باتری داره و نه آنتن.»
- موقعیتهای کاری: توی یه مصاحبه شغلی توی زوم، ممکنه بگی: «من نه ترسی از چالشها دارم و نه کمبودی در انگیزه.»
- شبکههای اجتماعی: داری یه فیلم توی نتفلیکس رو نقد میکنی؟ «داستان فیلم نه هیجانانگیز بود و نه منطقی.»

dass یا weil) رو وصل میکنی، اون وقت حتماً به اون ویرگول نیاز داری. این مثل ورژن علائم نگارشیِ وضعیت رابطه «پیچیده است» (it’s complicated) میمونه.مقایسه با الگوهای مشابه
weder... noch رو با پسرعموی «مثبتش» اشتباه نگیر: entweder... oder (یا... یا). در حالی که weder... noch یه «نه» دوتاییه، entweder... oder یه انتخاب اجباریه.

آره! فقط هی noch اضافه کن. .Weder A, noch B, noch C این کار باعث میشه خیلی سختگیر به نظر بیای، اما از نظر گرامری کاملاً درسته.
آیا فعل همیشه میره آخر جمله؟
نه، فقط اگه بندِ پیرو (subordinate clause) باشه. توی بندهای اصلی، فعل معمولاً در جایگاه دوم قرار میگیره.
آیا برای پیامک زدن خیلی رسمیه؟
اصلاً! توی پیامهای واتساپ خیلی رایجه، مخصوصاً وقتی میخوای خیلی شفاف بگی که به هیچکدوم از دو تا گزینه علاقهای نداری. فقط ازش برای توضیح اینکه چرا جواب اکست رو نمیدی استفاده نکن؛ اون یه جور گرامر دیگه لازم داره (و شاید یه دکمه بلاک).
