Common Mistakes
por の代わりに para を使ってしまうことです。Para は 将来の目標 に関するものです。por は 過去の原因 や動機に関するものです。Lo hago para amor と言うと、混乱した詩人のように聞こえてしまいます。もう一つの間違いは冠詞を忘れることです。常に感情の性別を確認してください！ Amor は男性名詞ですが、envidia は女性名詞です。また、名詞だけでいい場合に porque（なぜなら）を使わないでください。動詞を含む完全な文には porque を使います。odio や alegría のような単語一つには por を使います。Contrast With Similar Patterns

Both translate to 'for' in English, but they have different functions.
