Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use -더라 to share a discovery or something you personally witnessed and are now recalling.
- Attach -더라 to the verb/adjective stem: 먹다 -> 먹더라.
- Use it only for past experiences you witnessed yourself.
- It implies a realization or a 'turns out' moment.
