Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use -다는 것이다 to turn a full sentence into a noun phrase for objective explanation or emphasis.
- Attach -다는 것이다 to verbs: 먹는다는 것이다 (The fact is that he eats).
- Attach -다는 것이다 to adjectives: 예쁘다는 것이다 (The fact is that it is pretty).
- Use past tense -았/었다는 것이다 for completed actions: 갔다는 것이다 (The fact is that he went).

-ㄴ/는다는 것이다 faz. É o resumindo definitivo da gramática coreana.O fato é que... ou Significa que....Ele vai) e a transforma em uma frase nominal (O fato de que ele vai) e então a iguala ao sujeito usando
이다 (ser).-(으)ㄹ 것이다. Além disso, nunca adicione -ㄴ/는 aos adjetivos!-(으)ㄴ/는 셈이다 (que significa praticamente o mesmo que), esse padrão define um fato sólido.
