Grammar Rule in 30 Seconds
Use {又...又...} to describe two qualities or actions happening at the same time for the same subject.
- Use it for two positive or two negative adjectives: {又大又圆|yòu dà yòu yuán} (big and round).
- Use it for two simultaneous actions: {又哭又闹|yòu kū yòu nào} (crying and making a scene).
- The subject always comes before the first {又}.
